Turkish statistical authority, TurkStat, released on Tuesday the industrial output index figures for August.
In the sub sectors level of industry, mining and quarrying index increased by 0.4%, manufacturing index decreased by 2.6% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 4.5% in August 2012 compared to the same month of the previous year.
Calendar adjusted production index in August 2012 increased by 1.2% compared to the same month of previous year and seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index decreased by 2.3% compared to previous month.
