Izetbegovic was hosted by The Anadolu Agency (AA) Editorial Desk via video conference on Wednesday.
Replying to a question on Turkey’s policy regarding Bosnia&Herzegovina and the Balkans, he said that Turkey had a global role in the region and the country was turning into a world power economically, politically and diplomatically.
Turkey has reached the point that it deserved and this was a positive development regionally and globally, he said.
AA Executive Board Chairman and Director General Kemal Ozturk said that Izetbegovic had a special place for Turkish people, stating that Turkey attached a great interest in him.
