Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), a member of the SNC Executive Board, George Sabra said that they would hold new elections only four months after SNC Chairman Abdulbasit Seyda was elected due to new political groups and important dignitaries who have joined the SNC recently.
“In our elections, we will elect the new chairperson as well as those who will serve in our executive board. Representatives from the Arab League would be present during our elections,” Sabra underlined.
“The elections to be held will increase SNC’s credibility,” Sabra also said.
