Pakistan shares a very long border with Afghanistan. It is about (2430 km) from the south to the eastern edges of Afghanistan.
The border between the two countries was determined in 1893 in an agreement between the Afghan Emir Abdul Rahman Khan and the British Government of India.
It is not possible for border police to reach any border point. Since the Afghan jihad against the Soviet Union, Pakistan has been building smuggling routes across the border and financing insurgents to this day.
Are Pakistan and Afghanistan friends?
Afghanistan–Pakistan relations involve bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The two neighboring countries share deep historical and cultural links; each has declared itself an Islamic republic and both have become members of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation.
But Pakistan has worked hard to bring the Kabul government under its control. Pakistani generals who are senior military officials have repeatedly stated that insurgents are our capital in Afghanistan. We must take control of the central government of Afghanistan through them.
Are Afghanistan and Pakistan enemies?
The hostility between India and Pakistan lies at the heart of the current war in Afghanistan. Most observers in the West view the Afghanistan conflict as a battle between the U.S. and the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) against Taliban.
Pakistan was able to assassinate then-President Dr. Najibullah by Taliban militants. As Dr. Najibullah expanded his ties to Central Asia, he expanded his ties with India. To this day, Dr. Najibullah’s assassination is considered a great honor by Pakistan government. Afghanistan is the hell of the world. One of the main reasons is the fact that stability in Afghanistan is not in the interest of Pakistan.
There must be a secret agreement between Taliban and the West during the negotiations in Qatar. Afghans are killed every day. Women are widowed and children are orphaned. Several extremist Islamists who are ISI mercenaries are killing Muslims in the name of jihad. On the contrary, they no harm has been given to the lives and properties of the Westerners located in Afghanistan. Only innocent civilians are being targeted.
Afghanistan’s diplomatic relations with Pakistan have never been good. Islamabad always has hostile policies towards Kabul. While both countries call themselves the Islamic Republic.
Islamabad’s policy against Kabul is un-Islamic and inhumane. It has established safe havens for terrorists, training camps for extremists and suicide bombings on its soil. After receiving basic military training from the ISI, they are sent to major cities to commit suicide in mosques, universities, hospitals, and so on.
One of the main tasks of the ISI is to protect, train and transfer terrorists to Afghanistan. Islamic education schools, most of which breed terrorists, are funded and equipped by the Pakistani intelligence service. They are later smuggled into Afghanistan through the same intelligence apparatus.
