Ayakkabi / Winter 2010 – 28th Izmir Shoes, Bags and Accessories Fair, which was organized between 1-4 July 2010, by IZFAS, (Izmir Fair Services, Culture and Art Affairs Trade Inc.) – Turkish leader Fair Organization Company has ended.
Shoes for men, women and children, boots, bags, suitcases, purses and belts were presented during the fair.
Ayakkabi Winter 2010 exhibitors were very glad because of making commercial connections and getting the opportunity of meeting with the representatives of new markets.
9.007 trade visitors from 61 cities and 23 countries attended the fair where 111 exhibitors participated from Izmir, Konya, Sakarya, Adana, Manisa, Bursa, Antalya, Istanbul, Ankara, Trabzon, Italy, Iran, Brazil, Bangladesh and United Kingdom.
With an increase of 35% in the number of foreign visitors, hosted countries were Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany, People’s Republic of China, Finland, France, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Palestine, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine.
Last year, totally 8.763 visitors attended the fair from 26 countries and 61 cities.
IZFAS General Manager Dogan Isleyen stated that this Prestigious Fashion Event – Ayakkabi Fair gave support the sector after such a hard global economic crisis period. Isleyen also said that local and foreign visitors made important business contacts during the fair.
Izmir Shoes, Bags and Accessories Fair is being organized biannually with the supports of Sector Representatives, Izmir Shoes Manufacturers’ Chamber and Aegean Shoes Industrialists’ Association.
