More than 27 million voters in 34 states and capital Washington have voted early in US ahead of presidential election.
35 percent of the voters are expected to vote before the election day.
Voters waiting in lines for hours told AA correspondent that they might not vote during the office hours and wanted to secure their votes by voting on weekend.
Most of the states allow early voting.
Early voting had a critical role during the 2008 elections in favor of US President Barack Obama, therefore he called for early voting in all his meetings.
Early votes will not be counted until the election day.
