Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said 5.3 percent inflation target for 2013 in Turkey’s medium term program was accessible.
Babacan, who is currently in Tokyo for the meetings of IMF and World Bank, replied to questions of reporters.
The main topic in those meetings were global economic outlook, he said.
Answering a question on predictions in the medium term program, he recalled that according to the program, inflation target for 2012 was 7.4 percent and for 2013 was 5.3 percent. Babacan said they considered that 5.3 percent inflation target was achievable.
