Qatar-based “Rebuilding Gaza Commission” Chairman Mohammad al-Imadi told Egypt approved the entry of aid provided by Qatar to Gaza.
Imadi said that as part of a project, planned for rebuilding Gaza by Palestine government and will be financed by Qatar, construction materials will be transferred to Gaza via Rafah border gate and added that Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi ordered the easy pass of the materials.
He said that, Qatar pledged 254 million USD and that amount would be used for building a fully equipped hospital, 1000 houses, roads and for agricultural projects.
Imadi also said that he will give other good news to Gazans in a few days.
He said that after Morsi ordered the passage of fuel aid to Gaza, the Qatari fuel aid that had been waiting in the Suez port since April will be transported to Gaza in 5 days and that fuel will be used for producing electricity.
Imadi stated the importance of Turkey’s role in initiating help to Gaza and said that they were completing what Turkey started.
