At Rabaa, reports indicate a gas-station nearby has exploded, and that Morsi supporters have set fire to several vehicles and tents in attempts to slow down dispersal attempts by the police.
Reports, spread by State News, indicate that several leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood have been arrested. El-Watan claims this includes Safwat Hegazi and Mohammed Al-Beltagy.
Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood now claims that 120 Morsi supporters have been killed. In response, the Islamist Anti-Coup Coalition has called on Egyptians to take to the streets and demand an end to this “massacre.”
Officially, Egypt’s Ministry of Health has stated that one has been killed and 27 injured while dispersing the Rabaa al-Adaweya sit-in. Eye-witnesses claim that more dead may be located within the makeshift hospital at Rabaa.
