Ahmadinejad warned Turkey as being in danger
IranianPresident Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed on August 2 that Turkey was in danger, as it is being targeted by imperialist countries’ plans.
Ahmadinejad said “imperialist countries” were preparing plans for a number of countries in the region and that Turkey was among them, while addressing crowds in Tehran on the al-Quds (Jerusalem) International Day.
Alongside Turkey, the Iranian president said Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and North African countries were in danger.
Ahmadinejad, who will vacate his seat to president-elect Hassan Rouhani on August 4, warned regional countries not to trust Western countries, saying that these countries would “use them and throw them away like a handkerchief.”
