Turkish and Kazakh officials will sign agreements worth 2.4 billion U.S. dollars.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey and Kazakhstan aimed to reach a tradevolume of 10 billion U.S. dollars.
Erdogan and Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev attended Turkey-Kazakhstan high level strategic cooperation meeting and appeared at a joint press conference in Ankara.
President Nazarbayev presented the state medal of Kazakhstan to Erdogan.
Nazarbayev said that there has been a great transformation in Turkey in the past decade and the country was included in the top economies of the world.
He said that they decided to present the state medal to PM Erdogan due to his contributions to relations between the two countries.
Nazarbayev said that Turkish-Kazakh relations in the areas of economy, transportation, education and culture were discussed in his meeting with Erdogan, adding that they also took up the Middle East, Afghanistan and Syria.

Meanwhile, Turkish and Kazakh parties signed three agreements today.
