Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday hosted a dinner in the honor of his foreign guests who are set to attend an the fourth ordinary congress meeting of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party.
The dinner was held at the AK Party headquarters and it was closed to news media.
The AK Party congress meeting will be held in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Sunday.
Erdogan’s foreign guests include Kyrgyzstan’s President Almazbek Atambayev, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, Sudan’s Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Iraqi Vice President Tariq Hashimi, Turkish Cypriot Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk, leader of the Iraqi regional administration Masoud Barzani, Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, former Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia & Herzegovina Haris Silajdzic, former Lebanese President Amine Gemayel, former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, former Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Hamas leader Khaled Mashal, former Palestinian Foreign Minister Nabil Sha’ath and Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov.
