In spite of the rhetoric around religious and human laws and values in international community. Are these laws and principles respected by France and the French? Are policies followed towards Muslims justifiable under any norms or principles?
Do the French today value human rights, democracy and freedom of religion? Do they realize that a future in peace and harmony is possible when individual and religious rights are respected?
France killed Muslim scientists in 1917 in Chad. Similarly, Macron targeted prominent Muslims in France under the pretext of fighting radicalism.
Macron’s closure of Muslim shrines in France is not much different from the French atrocities in Egypt.
Those French, who stand by the Muslims and support them should be appreciated. Common-sense should prevail. Every human being deserves a life free of discrimination and prejudice. French government is expected to pave the way for establishment of an environment where all individuals are able to perform their religious duties
Time will show if the French who stand by the Muslim can show the true path to Macron. They will also not allow France to return to their dark history.
