Turkey and Belarus held talks on security cooperation Feb. 10, according to the Turkish Interior Ministry. A ministry statement said Turkish and Belarusian executives held a meeting on cooperation against terrorism and cross-border threats, including organized crime. Belarussian Vice President Victor Lukashenko visited Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin in Ankara.
During the meeting, executives expressed pleasure at the improving political and economic ties, and highlighted importance of cooperation in the fight against terrorism and organized crime.
