The US Central Intelligence Agency has released documents detailing reported Unidentified Flying Objects covering the late 1940s to the 1950s.
The intelligence agency announced information in a tie in with the reboot of the famous “X-Files” TV series, and broke the cases into two categories: whether you side with Agent Mulder or Agent Scully.
The cases range from eyewitness reports from the Soviet region of Germany in 1952 of an object “resembling a huge flying pan” that landed in a forest to documents from the scientific advisory panel on UFOs in 1953, in which panel members met to discuss the lack of sound data and present reasonable explanations in a handful of sightings from 1952.
