Turkey says its security forces captured one thousand ISIS isurgents, with the suspects coming from 57 different countries.
The ISIS fighters were mostly caught travelling between Turkey and Syria, with officials claiming that Chinese Uighurs were the largest group with over 300 fighters, whilst Russians had the second largest group with about 100 and Pakistan having over 80 to round out the top three largest nationalities represented.
There were also 63 fighters from Turkmenistan, 57 from Afghanistan and 44 from Indonesia. Fighters include nationals of Trinidad and Tobago and the Maldives. Others carried South Korean, Australian, German, French, US and British passports.
