U.S Budget Crisis and 2016 Presidential Race (I)

Started from non-acceptance of the expenses to be provided in voting by the Republicans for taking the social security service to the low-income earners, so-called ‘Obamacare’, by the Democrats to the Senate of which majority is Republicans, at the beginning of October,   the crisis has ended on September 17^th with settlement.

Among the main reason of the U.S budget crisis, the reason is caused by the connection between the conduct of the U.S political regime and economic structure. If we investigate the comments, on which analysts have same opinion on this issue, in two points:

• In the context of the budget crisis, the role of the “Tea Party” occurred as an opponent to the President Barrack Obama towards the 2000s has important place.   
• The difference of opinion among the Democrats and Liberals about the budget payments,

The opinion considered by the U.S Constitutional Law defends the clash of the political leaders not in harmony. Because they interpret that when they are in harmony, the democracy and freedom will be destroyed, and from the point resulted from these, almost all economical crisis are mostly arisen from the U.S Constitutional Law.   

After the crisis, even the U.S authorities seem to solve the crisis, they have comments that the problem is only delayed. When the government reopened on January 2014, it has been stated that taking debt is allowed till February, however no one can temporarily involve in the ‘Obamacare’ Reform and time will be allowed. For the discussions for permanent solution related to the budget, both parties shall give time to each other. However, the main problem is that the extreme Republicans abstain from the solution at the Representatives assembly under control of the Republicans and this also threatens their party.  Although the Democrats and moderate Republicans appear that they have close interest to the solution of problems in incoming periods, the extreme and moderate Republicans can create a deep contrast. Also there are rumors that extreme right-wing can break down from the Republicans.^[1]

However, the main point is that the U.S budget crisis is connected with the Presidential Race in 2016. After I shortly state this issue on first part of my letter,  I will write in my other letters that, (Does) the U.S Politics Requires Second Power and Third power ?,

The budget crisis is not first time in USA. The latest ‘government crisis’ in USA has been experienced in between 1995-96, the U.S government has suspended all works during 21 days, and has forced to stop all federal services which are not compulsory. On that day, the Republicans request acceptance of their equivalent budget proposals from the Democrat Party President Bill Clinton.^[2]

However, it will be on agenda again on January 2014, and by considering that this time there is serious opposition of the Republicans, the main reason of this is the Presidential Race in 2016. However, Republicans do not want to lose the government to the Democrats in 2016. The most favorite candidate of the Democrats appears the former Obama government secretary of state Hillary Clinton.

The U.S Presidents who come to government want to make an indelible impression with their special actions in the periods on government. They reinforce it with a doctrine. We can define “Obama Doctrine”  as “A prudent foreign policy <Smart Power>. Obama has created the frame of the said new foreign policy with the former secretary of state Hillary Clinton at the first government time (2009-2012). Possibly, when Clinton comes to the power in 2016,  he will advance in this foreign policy orbit. The reason why the Republicans do not want to lose the power third time to the democrats is that they are opposite to each other in either domestic or foreign policy. They want to use this to the end in favor of themselves in the Congress that mainly contains Republicans, and they are successful to lose reputation of Obama in public opinion.  However at the same time, the people lose their confidence to the congress.
