The US secretary of state to attend NATO foreign ministerial meeting, discuss Mideast peace negotiations during trip.
US Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Brussels, Chisinau, Jerusalem and Ramallah December 3-6.
From December 3-4 Kerry will attend the NATO Foreign Ministerial and associated meetings in Brussels. He will then travel to the Moldovan capital, Chisinau, where he will meet with Moldovan officials to discuss the country’s European integration and bilateral issues.
In Jerusalem, America’s top diplomat will meet with Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss Mideast peace talks with the Palestinians, and Iran.
He will then visit Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah where he will discuss the ongoing negotiations, as well as other issues.
Palestine and Israel held first peace talks brokered by the US in August this year in nearly 5 years.
