Tevfik Gur Stadium in the city of Mersin will host the Turkish national football team’s match for the first time in history.
Turkey’s national football team will play a friendly match against Belarus on Tuesday in southern province of Mersin.
The match against Belarus will be the first match in history that Turkey’s national football team will play in the Tevfik Gur Stadium in Mersin.
Spain’s Antonio Mateu Lahoz will be the referee of the match. Lahoz’s assistants will be Pau Cebrian Devis and Javier Aguilar Rodriguez. The fourth referee will be Javier Estrada Fernandez.
Turkey entered a new structuring era with the coach Fatih Terim after failing to qualify for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil. The match against Northern Ireland on November 15 on neighboring province of Adana resulted in a 1-0 victory for Turkey.
Tuesday’s match will be the fourth match between Turkey and Belarus. All the previous matches have been in friendly status, resulting in a victory for each team and a draw.
