Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Turkish Islamic scholar Fethullah Gulen on Sunday to express his wishes after the latter was hospitalized on Saturday.
The call occurred late on Sunday before Erdogan headed to Ankara from Istanbul, Turkish Prime Ministry sources said on Sunday.
Gulen has been resting at home after staying in the hospital for 12 hours due to cardiac arrhythmia caused by sudden hypertension.
