Miss USA, 20-year-old Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss Universe for the first time in more than a decade. Culpo won the title from 88 other contestants from six continents at the Planet Hollywood casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The last time, when an American won Miss Universe beauty pageant, was in 1997.
