Iraq did not give permission to Turkish plane carrying Turkish energy minister to land in Iraqi city of Irbil.
Turkey’s Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz was onboard in order to attend Oil and Gas Conference in the city on Tuesday.
Upon the refuse, the plane belonging to Turkish Prime Ministry landed in Kayseri, central province of Turkey.
The plane, which had taken off from Istanbul was informed that Baghdad denied permission to land due to technical reasons and the plane landed in Kayseri.
International flights enroute Irbil need the approval of Baghdad administration.
