Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a working visit Sunday in Algerian capital, Algiers, upon a formal invitation by his counterpart Mourad Medelci, the Algerian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
The ministry said Davutoglu was set to meet with President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal.
The ministry also said trade volume and economic cooperation between the two countries had increased significantly in recent years, adding that Algeria was home to many Turkish companies.
Bilateral trade volume between Turkey and Algeria was 4 billion USD in 2011.
