The new head of the Syrian National Council, the main opposition body in Syria, said that they would always remember assistance by Turkish state.
Replying to questions of AA correspondent, SNC head George Sabra said that Turkey was the best representative of democracy and human rights in the region.
Sabra said that they appreciated Turkey’s stance in the Syrian crisis.
SNC elected George Sabra, a Christian, as its new president on Friday.
